Practice Manager
Practice Manager and Certified Veterinary Technician Jennifer Mohawk has been with Cascade Animal Medical Center since August of 2004 and has been working in the animal care field since 2003.
“I love working at Cascade because we practice great medicine,” she says. “We have all the latest technology and use it well. I always say we should treat our patients as we would treat our own pets, which is really how we view our work. We also have a great team of doctors who work well together and are always learning and improving their skills. As technicians, we are able to use all of our skills and are not simply glorified animal restrainers; we do everything possible for our clients and their pets.”
Jennifer has an Associate’s degree in Applied Science for Veterinary Technician from Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota. She also undertook a three-month internship at the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic in Animal Research.
At home, Jennifer has a German Shepherd mix named Corona, two Terrier mixes named Kahlua and Jimmy B, two cats named Snoop and Simba, and an Appaloosa named Tiki. She likes to spend her free time with her son, going to the movies, hanging out with friends, horseback riding and being outdoors as much as possible.
