The Cascade Animal Inn
Why rely on a friend or untrained pet sitter to take care of your pets while you’re on vacation, out of town for business or merely at the office all day? The Cascade Animal Inn offers your pet a safe, comfortable and fun place to stay so you can be sure your pet isn’t lonely and is well cared for whether you are at work for the day or traveling for a week or more.
In addition, during your pet’s stay at the Inn, the Cascade Animal Medical Center staff is available to provide medical and wellness services such as behavioral and nutritional counseling, dental cleanings, training, puppy socialization, and more.
We also offer:
- The only boarding facility in our area with fully trained staff to examine and look after your pet while he or she is in our care
- Examination upon arrival of your pet in order to ensure all of our guests are in good health
- The only boarding facility locally with a continuous fresh air exchange system—complete air exchange every six minutes—to promote a healthy, odor-free environment
- Separate dog and cat facilities that cater to the unique habits and needs of our feline and canine guests
- Our canine guests will receive a complimentary bath after 5 days of boarding with us
- And the 10th day is free with our Frequent Boarder Card
We also ask that you make a reservation in advance for pets that will be with us overnight and inquire beforehand as to space availability for our daycare program.
For Our Canine Guests
Snoopy would love us because dogs are always welcome. Here are a few reasons why your dog will love staying with us:
- Our temperature-controlled dog only area is truly state-of-the-art, which is reflected in the materials used in the design and construction
- We are the only kennel in town that has a fenced-in play area with more than a half acre of real grass for dogs to run and tumble in
- All dogs have the choice to participate in group play with other dogs or just play with our staff one on one.
- For the safety of all our guests we require our canine guests to be current with their rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines and have had a negative parasite screening within one year. (If you are not a client of the Medical Center, your veterinarian can fax records to us at (507) 282-4449.)
For Our Feline Guests
Sorry Snoopy, No Dogs Allowed in our cats-only boarding area. Here are a few reasons why your cat will feel completely comfortable at the Cascade Animal Inn:
- Our cat-only room offers 24 finely crafted hutches with three separate levels where your cat can eat, sleep and play
- All hutches are connected to our state-of-the-art air exchange system that fully exchanges the air every six minutes
- Your cat is taken out and played with each day by our staff members
- For the safety of all our guests, all cats must have current vaccinations and a negative parasite screening within one year. (For guests that are not clients of the Medical Center, records can be faxed from your veterinarian to (507) 282-4449.)
Boarding for Exotic & Pocket Pets
Located away from the noise and bustle of our canine and feline friends, we have a special climate-adjusted residence for pocket pets and exotics. We will keep your pet fed, clean, and comfortable in your own favorite containment environment and provide human care and company.
