Dr. Jennifer Watson

Dr. Jennifer Watson began working at Cascade Animal Hospital when she was still in high school, first as a kennel attendant, then as a receptionist, and finally as a veterinary assistant throughout her years in school. She has lived in Rochester all her life and attended Lourdes Catholic High School. She continued her undergraduate education at Iowa State University, where she graduated with honors in 2003. She attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in the top 15 percent of her class. She was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.

When she's not caring for pets at the hospital, Dr. Watson loves being outdoors and can often be found hiking, rollerblading, fishing and boating. She also cheers on the ISU football team every chance she gets. She enjoys the companionship of her two dogs, Buddy, a yellow Lab adopted from Paws 'N' Claws Humane Society, and a yellow Lab named Teddy.
