Dr. Evelyn Richer

Dr. Evelyn (Eve) Richer graduated from Kenyon High School in 1978 and earned a B/A in biology from Wellesley College in 1982. She received her DVM from the University of Minnesota in 1986 and followed with an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in NJ.

Dr. Richer's veterinary interests include feline medicine, endocrinology and reproduction, oncology, soft tissue surgery and ultrasound. Dr. Richer returned home to Minnesota to join Cascade Animal Medical Center after spending twelve years on Cape Cod, MA, where she was president of the Cape Cod Veterinary Medical Association. She is a long-term member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Dr. Richer is married to Sebastien, a mastercraftsman in ornamental architectural metalwork. They enjoy spending time with their two daughters, as well as hiking, cross-country skiing and cooking. They have two cats: Marla, a munchkin, and Matou, a big ol' neutered tom cat.
